Virtual Auditions for the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir
COVID-19 UPDATE (7-3-20): During this unique time of social distancing in 2020, our traditional in-person auditions will be replaced by online, virtual video chat auditions for all ages, 7-17. Pairing with the virtual audition, virtual “Ready, Set, Sing… ZOOM!” classes will take place for elementary and middle school students (rising 2nd - 8th graders) who may be interested in joining the RVCC!

Let your singing voice shine!! You can join the 200 singers in the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir! Come and sing along with director, Ms. Davidson, for a free online singing class and audition. No preparation needed, Ms. Davidson will teach everything you need in the 15-20 minute class.

NO PREPARATION NEEDED! A virtual audition for the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir this year is easier than ever! You will sing a few notes back like an echo game and Ms. Davidson will check your vocal range. The audition takes only 2-3 minutes!

About the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir
The Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir will be celebrating their 34th season beginning in the Fall of 2020. Under the direction of Ms. Kimberly Ruse Davidson since 1987 the choir has grown to 240 singers, divided into 3 Training Choirs and a Concert Choir. The RVCC Concert Choir has gained national accolades for excellence from performances at Regional and National Choral Conventions, a solo performance at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. in 2019, solo performances at Carnegie Hall and at numerous festivals and honor performances. Locally, the Roanoke Valley Children’s Choir performs with Opera Roanoke and the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra.
